well, even though I live in san diego, we all know that the pudres suck when it comes to baseball, so I follow My hometown team the tigers, who by all accounts had the division all but wrapped up in the beginning of sept, only to choke the entire month and wind up having to have a tie breaker game with the twins. Well, in good san diego fashion, they too blew it!! I think I'm going to start following bowling!!!

Tigers have been bestowed the title of "biggest collapse" in the history of baseball. They were in 1st Place starting back in May. 7 1/2 games in front on September 7th and poof......oh well I just like baseball and my Giants aren't in it so I get to just enjoy it.

Anybody can win except the Yankees dammit.

sorry guys cant follow base ball ... too many games like what 180 per season , but you can always use what the bears have used for years ....THERE'S ALWAYS NEXT YEAR lol

I hate to correct you LV, but the title of "biggest collapse" belongs to the Chicago "Flubs" and all subsequent "Flubs" teams. Seems like my fading memory recalls that the '69 "Flubs" were 13 1/2 games in front of their closest competitors and they not only choked the rest of the season, but they still haven't been forgiven by those of us who followed that sorry excuse of a team and that Nimrod Leo Durocher. That's why I became a Chicago White Sox fan.
